We have decided to discontinue carrying Skito pads due to a substantial increase in wholesale pricing as well as wait times for pads which were 2 months and more. This long delivery time created problems for most of our customers.

We still have a few black pads in stock; please check the 'Style box' below to see which ones are still available.

Skito 'Equalizer' Saddle Pad: $180 (US)

The Equalizer Skito pad offers the following features:

Consists of open-celled urethane foam, profiled to the weight bearing area of a saddle with a patented Velcro closure.
The foam accommodates mismatch between saddle and horse while absorbing up to 90% of impact shock.
The open-cell structure of the foam encourages moisture and heat absorption from the horse's back.
The pad design approximates the curve of the horse's back which reduces the stress of forcing a square pad to a shape.

Equalizer Pads: all pads in stock are custom made for the individual Barefoot saddle model and come with ¾" firm foam inserts, no slip strips, black trim, sewn in billet strap and 100 % wool lining.

This 'Physio Pad' is a therapeutic saddle pad system with even better shock absorption.

Developed especially for heavy riders
3/4" firm open cell foam inserts are included
Horses with protruding spinous processes and missing toplines
The 'Physio Pad' creates more clearance of the spine with its 2 components which are tightly connected with wide Velcro straps
2 velcro straps in the front are provided to attach the pads to the saddle's D rings
Both layers of the 'Physio pad' can be washed at 30 degrees (remove inserts)

a.) the layer closest to the horse can be padded individually. It is shaped for a narrower seat and has a Sympanova bottom which ads to stability particularly on very round horses. One set of standard 3/4" firm open cell inserts is included. These inserts can be removed or exchanged through an easy Velcro opening at the front of the pad.

b.) the top layer of the Physio pad is made from hardy top quality cotton with a felt underside, felt padding and a natural rubber top layer which keeps the saddle in place and further absorbs pressure.

This is just the underside portion of the Physio pad. A lot of people asked if this can be ordered separately to replace the Sympanova underside.

The sheepskin is better suited for sensitive skinned horses. One set of standard inserts is included. These inserts can be removed or exchanged through an easy Velcro opening at the front of the pad. The sheepskin layer should be washed cold with special detergent like our Kookaburra wool wash.

Equipedic saddle pad: $229 - $249 (depending on size and color)

Endurance pads will fit the: Cheyenne size 1 and 2 and size 1 Tahoe (ONLY)
Currently there are no Equipedic pads which will fit the London, Lexington and Tahoe size 2

All Equipedic pads have 1” ConforPedic firm memory foam inserts which reduce impact, absorbs shock and protect your horse's back. It will keep your horse cooler when it's hot and warmer when it's cold. The new design relieves pressure on the withers of any horse, including swaybacks!

The pad's underside is lined with breathable wool and the top made of Cordura® to further promote ventilation and durability. Clarino® wear leathers protect the pad from latigo and fender wear.

Kookaburra Woolwash

Use this wonderful woolwash for all your sheepskin and wool saddle pads. Kookaburra Woolwash and Sheepskin Shampoo is unique in it's ability to revitalize and soften while thoroughly cleaning. The woolwash is concentrated and you'll find you need to use only half the amount compared to other woolwashes. Rinsing is optional for sheepskin and woolen items.

Kookaburra Woolwash is made with Tea Tree Oil and Lanolin! The oil extracted from the leaves of the Australian Tea Tree is well known to be effective against dust mite and it is also a natural fungicide and bacteriostat. Lanolin improves the luster and the pliability of wool. Put these two ingredients together and you have the best woolwash available for your wool, down and all the items you care about! This woolwash is water based and completely biodegradable. It contains no enzymes, phosphates, peroxide, or alkali. 16 oz. or 1 Gal bottle.
