We recommend these kind of stirrups for all our saddles which have a closed D-ring stirrup attachment. These are true fillis style stirrups with heavy bottoms to help add stability. These leathers are very soft with extra flat stainless steel buckles (suitable for all our Barefoot models) and made of calf leather with a nylon inlay. These leathers have no sharp edges which make them perfectly suited for soft leather saddles. Due to the very flat buckle it will not pinch your upper thighs even with the buckle at the top.

Zilco Synthetic Girth Loop: $9.95 (US)Black only - 7.5" long (including ring), fits most English girths
For girths without D's, this will last you a lifetime. A solid brass ring attached to a loop of Zilco synthetic strapping slides over your girth and attaches to your breastplate via the brass ring. The loop will not corrode like leather and is easily cleaned with warm soapy water.

This breast plate is made of high quality, soft leather. The brown breast plate comes with a basquet tooling and the black one with a nice embroidery. The underside is made of soft leather; inside is an elastic foam which adjusts smoothly to the horse's chest. The padding goes past the top layer to avoid any rubbing on the horse's skin.
This breast plate can be adjusted to a large variety of lengths. 2 leather straps and 2 snap hooks which attach to the saddle are included.
